We love to visit “art parks” or art collections installed outdoors. Their curation, intention, and influence range just as the size of these parks differ greatly. Some include more site-specific environmental installations where the work feels more discovered than placed. Others are formally arranged, so it feels like you are walking through a museum but with more nature or noise. Here is the ongoing list of art parks we visited and remember. It’s not all the art we’ve seen or all the parks we’ve played at, but the places that combine the best of both! You can find our take on experiencing these places with children on this site. If you have any recommendations for art parks we should visit, let us know. We are always making travel plans for art.
