The Louvre is a great museum. It probably always will be, but I think most people just visit to check it off their to-do list. The first time I visited, I sat happily in the atrium admiring the light and glass and rush of people. I purchased a Mona Lisa memo pad and left. Six years later (in 2012) I went into the galleries with my family. The Louvre has the largest collection of art in the world, but you have to want to see it. I want to see JR take on the I.M. Pei pyramid this spring… or in the children’s gallery at the Pompidou!

And if you can’t go to Paris this spring, buy the book and watch the movie.
