We all need a little Hervé Tullet in our lives. Any of his books make great gifts. We like his series on games, especially games of mirrors, in the dark, and of sculpture. “The Big Book of Art” is a sturdy book about making marks. There is an emphasis on lines. All the pages are cut in half. You can mix them or match them. My favorite section in “The Big Book of Art” is the alphabet.  Make by unmaking. My four year old spends a lot of time thinking about letters… this chapter of the book makes it interesting for me to think about it too. For more ABC books, see my growing Amazon list.
